Geologist/Hydrogeologist

BBA Water Consultants, Inc. (BBA) is seeking applications to immediately fill a full-time position as a hydrogeologist to assist with upcoming well drilling projects along with ongoing hydrogeologic investigations and reviews in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain area.

A little information about us: BBA Water Consultants, Inc. is a consulting firm specializing in water rights, water resources planning, and ground and surface water hydrology. Located in Englewood, CO, with a branch office in Salida, CO. BBA provides services to clients in the Western United States, mostly, but not exclusively, within the State of Colorado. BBA’s clients include a variety of public and private entities, including municipalities, ranchers, ski resorts, local and federal government, and others. This year, BBA celebrates 46 years in business, serving our clients and building a legacy we are proud of!

We are seeking applications for a full-time position as a geologist/hydrogeologist from applicants with the following skills and qualifications:

• BS or MS in geology or hydrogeology.
• Zero to three years of experience in Colorado and/or other areas of water resources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Programming experience is a plus.
• Skills related to GIS, MODFLOW, and well drilling are a plus.
• Registration as a GIT or plans to pursue licensure as a professional geologist.

BBA staff mostly work in the office, with some virtual work flexibility. BBA provides its staff a robust suite of in-office and remote access and communication tools for data access and teamwork.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on factors including level of applicable experience and education.
